There’s no shortage of aspects of society we wish were different. There are so many problems out there, it’s hard to get a handle on them. Below are just a few of the problems that are making life difficult for most of us. This list is just the beginning, and will be refined and added to over time.
Organizing problems. To make this a bit more useful, it helps to have some organization. There is a lot of overlap, but I’ve tried to organize the problems into government, business, the environment, and society in general (society is basically everything that doesn’t easily fall into one of the other buckets).
Clearly, this is not a comprehensive list. I’ll add and better organize it as we go along, but I think it’s enough to get started.
General Problems in Society
These are things that affect us in everyday life, what you and I deal with on a day-to-day basis. Things like health care and education are impacted by the government, but at the end of the day they affect what we deal with as we go through life. There are so many problems in society that need to be fixed. Everything is connected, and society just kinda means everything, so this is the biggest bucket. Again it’s basically what doesn’t neatly fit into government, business or environment (and of course most of these problems fall into multiple “buckets.”

Environmental Problems
And last but not least, here are problems happening in the environment. Apologies this area has the least amount of entries, it’s not because I don’t think it’s important.
For one, there is already a ton of work in this area (which I hope to highlight in the coming weeks)for people who want to learn more. But more importantly, I worry we’ll have limited ability to help the environment if we don’t deal with these larger issues in society.

While the list of “problems” is really endless, some affect much more people than others, and cause a lot more pain than others. Additionally, a lot of these issues feed on oone another, creating a vicious cycle that mokes things worse and worse.
And while the situation is pretty dire, it’s not completely hopeless. There are always solutions to the problems in society.
